Confict

A conflict is an argument or disagreement that can be presented in a person, place or thing. In the movie World War Z the conflict is that there is a virus that makes people want to eat flesh and brains. Everyone at first just tries to runaway but then they find the antidote and they try to get it from a medical lab but the lab is full of zombies so its difficult for them to get the antidote.

My Review On The Elephant Man

The Elephant Man was a great movie, I learned a lot from it. I learned that we make the world terrible with stuff like the machines that make the world worse. All the smoke that the machines take out affect the atmosphere and the world. The movie didn't really impact me a lot but I know some of the main reasons what is was made for. I know to not make fun of a person with a disease or deformity. If I had a child with a deformity, I wouldn't like people making fun of him. I would cry to see my child be made fun of for a deformity. I would be enraged, I liked how at the end he spoke up for himself and said he was a man. That was the first time in the movie I heard him scream. I was proud of him for speaking up and not being afraid. Overall the movie was great and it inspired me to speak up for myself as well.

My Name Is John Merrick

I was so proud that for the first time I had a place that I could call my own. The mothershead and Dr. Frederic Treves were so nice to me and they even brought me a gift that night. I was playing around with my gift when suddenly I hear a big bang on the door and I see the Night Porter rushing in with a bunch of people. I was so scared because I didn't know what they were going to do to me. THey were tossing me around and pushing and shoving me like if I was some type of animal. I was so scared, and then when they showed me the mirror I was so afraid that I screamed very loudly. They were trashing my home and they even made me kiss a little innocent woman. They poured drinks in my face and I couldn't even see or talk because the drink was all up on my face. When they all left I was alone for a minute but then Mr. Bytes came in and instead of hitting me, he only touched my hair. I thought he was  going to hurt me but instead he just took me somewhere I did not know of.

Welcome To My Nightmare

Once I had a very scary dream that didn't let me sleep for quite a while. I was scared that i'll dream the same thing all over again. I had dream that I was awaken by water slowly dripping on the floor. I couldn't move or talk or doing anything. I had dreamt that I was screaming but nothing came out of my mouth. I was very scared because I would scream "Mom, Mom" but no one would answer. I decided to stand up and go call her and ask her why I couldn't talk but I couldn't move as well. I was so scared because i thought someone was holding me down but I couldn't see anything. After about a while I was able to talk and move. I quickly turned on the light to see if anyone was there but I didn't see anyone, so I decided to stay awake the whole night. The next day in the morning, I told my parents and they had said, "It was probably a 'muerto' on top of you". I didnt know what that meant so I asked my grandpa and he said that he has had those dreams as well, and he said it feels as if were awake. I didnt know whether I was awake or dreaming, so I was scared until I just let it go and imagined it was nightmare even though I don't know the truth.

Compassionate Science

Some people use there science knowledge to help many people out. In example, they've helped people in war that have lost their hands or legs. They make equipment that can help them walk or use their hands. As technology advances we are advancing but we cannot keep up because it is faster than us. Doctors are compassionate because they use there knowledge to help one get cured or be healthy. One day technology might end up ruling over us because it is so much faster. No one would be able to work because machines would take over ones job or position. Many of the people that help others out don't expect anything in return but for the person to be happy. They earn respect and many people will want to be helped by the compassionate man or woman. In the end the guy that does it free will win rather than the guy you have to pay.

The Future

I believe there will be personal robot maids in 50 years. these robots will do all the housework like a maid. They wouldn't need to be charged or use batteries. They will run off of oxygen. You can shut them off with a button only the owner can use. Holographic phones or tablets in 20 years. You would be able to see the person that your calling. In the tablets the games will be popping out and you'll be able to play by moving the holograms. Space ships that everyone can buy in 250 years. We will be able to find extra terrestrial beings in the universe. We could learn more from other beings and we could probably find another world we can live in when earth doesn't exist anymore. An invisible button that can turn stuff invisible in 500 years. This can help you from getting robbed. A cure to AIDS, cancer and other modern diseases. Either they find a pill, injection, or they can just get in a machine that will cure them from any cure they have. They can only use it once a lifetime because using it twice will kill you. What I know for sure is that machines will take over one day because it improves faster than we can control.

One TIme I Laughed Really Really Hard

This one time I laughed really hard because I was at my friends house. We were playing FIFA and out of no where our other friend comes and is there sitting, watching us play. Then I passed the controller to him and he says no because he was about to leave. Then he said very clearly and seriously, "Aye Peter, so ima go see this girl I really like, should I take a shower." My friend and I burst out laughing because we had just finished coming from playing soccer and he was dirty and smelly. Then he just leaves out to take a shower and we were still laughing at him because he was serious on what he asked. He comes back still wearing the same clothes, and we start laughing at him so he goes back and changes but at the end of the day he ands up not going because she had already left to the movies without him.

Charlie Chaplin Modern Times

I liked how Charlie Chaplin didn't make a talking film because if he would of then his last film wouldn't have been as great. I like how he predicted we were going to have television and cameras. I don't understand why Charlie Chaplin kept on going back to jail. Why did the boss have Chaplin's voice, couldn't he have just used his own voice. How did the machine make Chaplin crazy? I understand it would take away their job but not make them insane. My favorite moment in the movie is when he is singing. I wonder what language he was singing in. Chaplin was lucky that the warden of the jail gave him a signature that let him get any job. Even with the signature, he couldn't maintain the job because he didn't know what to do and would always get fired. Where did Chaplin and his girlfriend end up at the end.

My Thoughts On Bullying

I have never bullied anyone or been bullied. I think its inhuman to bully someone because they could get really hurt; either mentally, physically, or emotionally. People getting bullied , should be with an adult most of the time. If there not with an adult and someone is bullying them, then they should stick up for themselves and tell the bully to stop. If the bully refused to stop, they should fight back in self defense. If i was to get bullied, i wouldn't let myself because then they'll just keep on bullying me , over and over again. If  a bully see's that your sticking up for yours3elf, he would stop and probably never bully you again. The bullies bully because it helps them at the moment but then they feel worse after, so they do it again. People sometimes bully because there parents mistreat them or made them that way. They could change for the better even if it isn't the easiest thing to do. The people being bully might end up being bullies as well if they are harshly impacted about it.
